Welcome to the World!

September 17,2011
Nixon Alexander Duncan
7lbs 11oz 21 in

My good friend/ coworker Brigitte had her baby! It was crazy, it seriously seemed like we just found out she was pregnant! She's been such a trooper through the morning sickness, exhaustion and all other symptoms of pregnancy she dealt with! She was working right up until the day she got induced. She's a superwoman!
Since this is her first, She was a little nervous about being in labor, and the hospital and what not. I found this cute idea for new mom's in the hospital...
It had some snacks, hair ties, chap stick, breath mints, make-up wipes, floss.. ect
just little things she might need to feel more comfortable.
So when This guys popped out, she'd feel a little refreshed.
Look at all that hair!
 Uncle Alex :)

I'm IN LOVE with this little guy!

 Duncan family going home!

He's is seriously the sweetest baby. It's not good for my baby fever!
The next day,

Aurelia Kristal Burton
Unfortunately for us, they live up in Washington so we couldn't go to see her.
but here are a couple pictures we were sent!
I'm loving her hat! She's adorable!
I can't wait to meet this little one! I'm going to go broke spoiling my niece :)

Make em' laugh!

My brother-in-Law was in town from New York this last weekend. He's a stand up comedian and got a spot in Friday night's show at the Comedy Spot in Scottsdale. He was SO good! We had never been able to see him live before so this was a big treat! The whole show was really good, but we concurred that Brian was the best. He was so clean and still got the most laughs, as opposed to the other acts that were funny, but not very clean. He's got my respect for sure! One of his bits is about school pictures. Click here to watch so you understand why we took this picture...
Awesome job Brian!

Mr. and Mrs. Green

September 10, 2011
One of my best friends got married on September 10, 2011.
This friend, I might add- caught the bouquet at my wedding, and was in fact the next one to get married! I love it when that happens :)
The Kaitlyn and Bret bonanza weekend started off on Friday night, at the rehearsal dinner.
Love these girls
Saturday was the big day. The ceremony was beautiful. I was so excited to get to be a part of it.
We were a little worried that the rain would kick in because it was supposed to that weekend. but when they came out of the temple is was as hot and sunny as ever!
Kaitlyn looked so happy, and SO beautiful!
The bridal party
Love her!
Me and the Lovely Karley
Loved the way the reception turned out! It was simple and beautiful, Just like Kaitlyn!
Yummy cake!

Congrats Kaitlyn and Bret! I'm so happy for you both!
You're a beautiful couple, and you are going to have such a happy life!

It's that time of year again...

September 1,2011
In my book, the first day of September is the first day of fall. I LOVE this time of year. I love the weather in Arizona. I love the colors of Fall, and I love decorating!
This year was especially fun because I'm doing it for OUR home, not just mine.
{Even though Alex could probably care less about decorations}
Anyways, Here's what I've done so far to our house :)
I about screamed when I found this pumpkin!

Stay tuned, I'm sure I'll find away to do more!

Alex turned 23!

August 25,2011
Alex turns 23!

He didn't really want to turn 23. His reasoning? "No one likes you when you're 23."
I don't believe it. Who doesn't like ALEX?!
I wanted to make his birthday extra special so I took the day off and started it nice and early to make Alex breakfast before his first class.
I made him waffles and bacon with Strawberries and blueberries on the side!
I also sent him on a little scavenger hunt.
[There is a video on Facebook]
First, I sent him to the Bathroom, and in the shower he found his first present. Anti-balding shampoo.
He actually has been asking for this because he's afraid he's going bald! haha Men!
His next clue sent him to the car where he found the Back to the Future trilogy. We've been eyeing these movies forever!
After his classes that morning we went to Liberty Market for lunch.
[they give you $10 off your meal on your birthday!]
Liberty Market is right across the street from Joe's BBQ.
Outside of Liberty Market, I dropped the clue to his next present which led him to his old bedroom at his parents. He found a Diamondbacks hat there!
and last but certainly not least, his last clue led him to...
Diamondbacks tickets! To a game he really wanted to go to!
Alex wanted to get all the free food he could so we went with friends and family to Joe's Farm Grill for dinner.  Its owned by the same people that own Liberty Market and Joe's BBQ, so they give you $10 off too.
Instead of a cake this year, Alex wanted banana bread!
I've never made it before but my Sister-in-law gave me a great recipe so I attempted.
It turned out yummy! I was so glad!
Happy Birthday Hubby!
Love you!
